Monday July 22nd-Friday July 26th, 9am-5pm
Join us for this full day, week-long shoemaking intensive! Each student will make a pair of leather shoes for themselves, starting with measuring their own feet and concluding with lacing up their shoes. The construction will be "stitch down". All steps, except grinding, are done by hand. This workshop is led by Nathaniel Williams, an artist and educator, and co-founder of Free Columbia in Columbia County, New York.
No experience necessary. Suitable for adults and teens 15 years and older.
$500/person, all materials included.
